Pastor Roddy was born again in 1995 and has had an amazing journey that led him to Niceville. From Coaching high school and college, working in a boys home, youth pastoring and even owning a nationwide business. His greatest accomplishments in life are his family. His wife Danielle, his daugher Julia and son Jake. He is a dedicated father that loves his family and knows that they are God's greatest blessing and favor in his life. While Pastoring and teaching in Bible College, Pastor Roddy also speaks in conferences and leadership seminars nationwide.
Pastor Roddy's passion is contagious and you will be blessed, challenged and motivated by his uncompromising preaching and leadership style. His motivation to minister the Gospel to the Body of Christ is for the believer to see who they are and what they have "in Christ".
DANIELLE SHAFFER
Co-Pastor
Danielle Shaffer is from Shreveport Louisiana.She attended St. Vincent’s high school in Shreveport. Following high school she enrolled at Ole Miss, then moved home to pursue her Nursing degree at Grambling University. Danielle has been a registered nurse since 1994 and has worked in numerous hospitals.
Danielle had a very unique path into the ministry. After graduating from Nursing School she decided to attend Rhema Bible College in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1994. While attending she worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital. Danielle was trained and specialized in the Teaching Ministry while at Rhema. After graduating from Rhema in 1996 Danielle moved back to Minden Louisiana to live with family there and help in the ministry at Living Word Worship Center. She was the director of the Pre-School ministry and served the ministry in many other capacities. After meeting and marrying Pastor Roddy their life in ministry together began. Pastor Roddy and Danielle began after their wedding as the Junior High Pastors at Living Word. Then, after Roddy graduated Rhema, they came back to serve together as Youth Pastors from 2003-2009. During this time Danielle was also full-time Children’s director for the ministry.
Danielle is currently working hand in hand with Pastor Roddy at Champion Life, where she assist in the ministry using her passion for people and her teaching gift. She is a gifted Bible teacher and has a heart for children. As Co-Pastor Danielle is a very big part of all the success that Champion Life has enjoyed and will continue to enjoy.
